In a showdown between top-10 teams that lived up to the hype, Jimmer Fredette erupted for 43 points as No. 9 BYU knocked off No. 4 San Diego State, 71-58, before a crowd of 22,700. (one of which was a true blue josh)
It was an AMAZING game--we loved every minute of it (from the comfiness of our sofa)

I hope they call me on a mission!

I am loving my new assignment at the MTC!, where I work in the reading and tutoring program. Everyday is a blessing. Our theme: Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach him to fish, feed him for a lifetime. The experiences I am having there are among the most amazing that I have had in moving to Utah. Gratitude is my overwhelming emotion for this new assignment!

the hunger games obsession at the gill houshold

we do stop occasionally to eat...

As punishment for a previous rebellion against the Capitol, every year one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected at random and forced to participate in the Hunger Games....

CONGRATULATIONS MARISSA!!

Our year started in a wonderful way, as we flew to Petaluma (just outside of San Francisco) to be part of Marissa's baptism. Clark performed it and we all enjoyed meeting their ward and Marissa's beautiful mother. Experiencing the quiet joy that is part of a baptism was a gift more valuable than anything money can buy. Happiest of New Years!
