HAVING EVERYONE HOME TOGETHER WAS HEAVEN ON EARTH. We hadn't been all together for about 6 or 7 years. We decided to go somewhere (warm) where we were isolated just a bit to have quality family time. And we did. We rented a house on a private beach (turns out it was
Gilligan's--where they filmed the TV episode Brian and I grew up on!) on the island of Kauai.
We cooked our own food instead of going out to eat (lots of fresh fish). We played on the beaches and hiked and just relaxed. We made lots of great memories and built lots of inside jokes, which are probably best described through photos:
